Origin:

Amagama Art was founded in 2022 by Nqobile Khuzwayo. The name was inspired by a passion for writing and WordArt, a built-in Microsoft Office feature that transforms ordinary text into decorative, stylized designs. WordArt allows users to create visual text effects including shadows, curves, gradients, outlines, and 3D styling.

The name "Amagama Art" was crafted by translating the first word of the feature, "Word" into Zulu in its plural form, giving us "Amagama," while retaining the second part, "Art." Together, they form Amagama Art.
